American Staffordshire Terrier, Labrador Retriever [Mix]

Beansy is a gorgeous Chocolate Lab / Terrier Mix approx 35-40 lbs, who loves gentle strokes behind the ears and a kind word. He's sweet and gentle, a fast learner that responds quickly to positive reinforcement training. Beansy has a healthy, shiny chocolate brown soft coat that doesn't shed much, and gorgeous amber eyes. He is housetrained and crate trained (his crate is his den!). Beansy scored straight "A"s in his temperament test administered by the city shelter. Beansy comes from a home ridden by domestic violence and needs a quiet, adult home with a single guardian or a couple that is dog savvy and has good pack leadership skills. A home with a friendly small/medium size and well tempered dog is a plus but not required. A fenced yard to exercise and play is preferred but not essential as long as the dog is exercised daily. Beansy's also cuddling and loves to play with toys and chew a bone. Beansy has no separation anxiety and is neither food nor toy aggressive. Neutered, UTD w/vaccines, microchipped.
