Hello, my name is Molly. I'm a purebred Black Lab, and I am about 6 years old. I am about to lose my family soon due to the illness of my dad and best friend, but he wants you to know that I am very well loved.and am a perfectly mannered girl. I want to be someone's true companion, just like with my dad. I love to sit by your feet, and I'll sleep at the foot of your bed if that's ok with you. At this home, I have a fenced yard that I can go out in and it suits me just fine. I might bark if a squirrel runs by, but I am generally very quiet. I love going on long walks, and also love to go for car rides. Maybe we could go out in the car and then take a walk someplace. I have to say that I do not do so well with cats and other dogs. I am hoping my new home won't have any cats--they make me nervous and upset and then I start barking and chasing them. I am 100% housetrained, and I have been spayed. I'll love every member of your family--I'm perfectly wonderful with children. I have incredibly soft ears, which I love for you to pet. Our dogs must be spayed or neutered as a part of their adoption. They receive age-appropriate shots and worming, flea/tick preventative, and any other medical treatments that they require. Dogs over the age of eight months are tested for heartworm and Lyme disease. Negative dogs receive heartworm preventative; positive dogs are medically treated prior to adoption.
